Oh ya rebooking is great, and the best part about it is that you save lots of money, and it's totally refundable. So, if we decided to do the cruise for the honeymoon we've saved a bunch of money, and if we changed our mind to do something else we can be fully refunded :) OF course, the next trip might be different as we were a bit spoiled on the last trip having our travel agent with us- she got champagne delivered to our room, arranged for the Captain of the ship to meet us, had little treats waiting for us in our room... haha might not be the same next time!

My fiance isn't so much a Disney fan and he was impressed by the fact that on much of the cruise the Disney bits were subtle and could largely be avoided. In fact, he thought that the only thing on the entire cruise where it was fully DISNEY were the shows- and his favourite part of Disney World are the shows so he loved it anyways. The adults pool was also a huge life-saver since the kids pool was NUTS and super loud.

Anelise, you mean you were the AWESOME cast member who talked to you in the Confectionary! I hope my boyfriend likes the cruise too! He's been on non-Disney cruises, and he's a big WDW fan, so hopefully he will. I think there's enough non-Disney stuff to do also if he gets overwhelmed. We're actually not doing Port Adventures because I'm on a budget, and we're doing WDW after the cruise, which is taking up a large portion of my budget. My sister is doing two, though, a sea lion swim at Nassau and parasailing at Castaway Cay. I've been parasailing before in Florida though, and it is really awesome! My boyfriend's not really into it, though. Oh well.

Hedy, I do plan on attending at least the first college student meet, just to check out the other people our age. I'll be with James, so it's not like I'll really need to make some friends, but it would be nice to meet other people. If the first one goes well, perhaps we'll go to some of the other meets.

About the parasailing, yes, two people can go up at the same time. I went with my boyfriend, of course, and it was a very special moment up there, seeing the Disney Dream up close and from the top and Castaway Cay.

I was very nervous during the boat ride (it's a bumpy ride and you get wet) and while the others were doing (about 8 people go in the boat each time) but when we finally went up it was just amazing. Really. I was not scared anymore. It doesn't feel like you're so high when you're up there and the water is so clear sometimes you can see the bottom of the sea. And it's really smooth, you don't feel like you're being pulled as fast as you actually are.

You really should do it, it's amazing and not scary at all! :)

Good to know about the parasailing, we're thinking about doing it on the honeymoon but I'm a bit afraid of heights. Maybe we'll give it a try anyways. Can you go with two people at the same time?

When my college program ended in february me and my boyfriend went on a Disney Cruise (on the Dream!!) and it was just amazing!! And to my surprise, it was the wdw radio cruise! The new ship is unbelievable and there's so much to do!! Specially for Disney lovers like us :) I was afraid my boyfriend would get tired of all the characters and stuff, but he loved everything. He really liked the food (it's so good!! And you can get as many Mickey premium bars as you want for dessert!) and the "building the Disney Dream" presentation.

Have you thought about the port adventures? I highly recommend the parasailing at Castaway Cay, even if you're a little afraid of heights. It's really smooth and so peaceful when you're up there. And you get to see the ship and all castaway cay from the sea!! It's amazing, I just wish you were up in the air for a little longer.

I don't mean to sound like a stalker or anything, but I love you're blog and your tweets! I can really relate to being a huge Disney fan and a college student :)

Have fun! I got engaged on the Disney Dream (with the help of Lou Mongello :) ) and the whole trip was so much fun! It was my first cruise and I agree that I wasn't sure what to expect and if I'd be bored, but I ended up being pretty overwhelmed by how much there was to do (and not enough time to do it!) for the first few days. Then I realized the solution is to just re-book for the honeymoon hehe- yep, I booked the honeymoon the day I got engaged lol.
